Earlier in the game, after early damage, Owen Gould and Jamie Dunk steadied the ship for a while. Once they fell, the flurry of runs showed down. Later, Bahadar Esakhiel showed resilience in his batting and helped Scotland Under-19 reach a commendable total of 251 runs. Peter-Daniel Blignaut was the standout bowler for Namibia Under-19.

With 252 runs to chase, Namibia Under-19 were off to a steady start and lost early wickets. Johannes Visagie and Zacheo Vuuren steadied the ship. It felt like they had the game under their control before Johannes Visagie fell in the 33rd over. Alexander Volschenk took charge then and played a good cameo of 32 runs, but after he fell, the flurry of runs slowed down for a bit. They fought till the very end but lost the game by a narrow margin of just 3 runs. Zacheo Vuuren had a remarkable inning but fell on the second last ball after scoring 86 off 119!
